Use it for one small task
- Extract the ZIP and open the HTML start guide.
- On Blank, update the Check date, then enter the event ID, account or contract label, renewal date, lead days and owner.
- Read the calculated Follow-up due date and State.
- Enter a real Completed date after performing the follow-up yourself.
For example, November 10, 2026 minus 30 calendar days is October 11. At an October 22 check it is Overdue unless completion has been recorded. Calendar days include weekends and holidays.
Software and limits
Microsoft Excel is intended. Formulas were recalculated and export/reimport checked with Artifact Tool. Native desktop Excel and other spreadsheet apps were not tested. Prepared formulas cover rows 7-16; extend them carefully before adding more events.
The calendar does not send reminders, sync to a CRM or calendar, interpret legal notice periods or calculate retained revenue. Lead days are your follow-up planning choice. The file cannot verify that an action was actually performed.
For a renewal-value review
The Customer Renewal Cohort Workbook adds a larger contract-event register, selected-window review, retained value and expansion calculations, duplicate contract/date checks and pending-outcome handling. The free calendar remains useful on its own.
